Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using I Wish It ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Account Registration

Eligibility:

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security

Account Responsibilities:

  • Keep your password confidential
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

User Content

Your Content:

  • You retain ownership of wishlists, items, and other content you create
  • You grant us a license to store, display, and share your content as needed to provide services
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content

Prohibited Content:

  • Illegal items or activities
  • Offensive, harmful, or discriminatory content
  • Spam or misleading information
  • Copyrighted material without permission
  • Personal information of others without consent

Wishlist Sharing

  • Share Links: You can generate and share links to your wishlists
  • QR Codes: QR codes are provided for convenient sharing
  • Public Wishlists: Public wishlists may be viewed by anyone with the link
  • Regenerate Links: You can regenerate share links to revoke previous access

Claims System

  • Claiming Items: Claiming an item reserves it and hides the claim from the wishlist owner
  • Unclaim Period: You can unclaim items within 24 hours
  • No Purchase Obligation: Claiming an item does not create a legal obligation to purchase
  • Accuracy: We are not responsible for the accuracy of item information

Friend System

  • Friend Requests: You can send and accept friend requests
  • Friend Access: Friends may see wishlists you've set to "friends-only"
  • Unfriending: You can remove friends at any time

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Impersonate others or create fake accounts

Intellectual Property

  • Our Rights: I Wish It, its logo, and design are our intellectual property
  • User License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App
  • Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without permission

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Firebase, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

AS IS Basis:

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We are not responsible for item availability, pricing, or accuracy

No Purchase Guarantee:

  • Claiming an item does not guarantee purchase or delivery
  • We are not involved in actual gift transactions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content or third-party actions

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • We may discontinue the App with 30 days' notice

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
